About the Job We’re looking for a seasoned customer service professional to work with both our restaurant clients and their patrons. The ideal person believes down to their core that great customer service makes or breaks an experience. Since 2010, we've built personalized ordering systems for more than 6,000 restaurants nationwide – making it easy for customers to order directly from their website, Facebook page, and branded iPhone and Android apps. Based in Playa Vista, CA, ChowNow is dedicated to helping restaurants grow their to-go businesses, strengthen customer relationships, and compete with national chains using leading technology.

 

The Responsibilities

    • Communicate with restaurant clients as well as diners via phone, email and chat
    • Work with other departments to problem solve and answer any questions posed by our clients
    • Provide technical assistance for clients with ChowNow devices in the restaurant
    • Understand the ChowNow product in and out in order to provide customized solutions to clients
    • Respond timely and accurately to client requests, both verbal and written
    • Keep our clients and their customers happy while maintaining a professional and positive attitude

The Requirements

    • The strongest candidates will have a “by any means necessary” attitude but is still a team player
    • Able to think strategically and develop well thought-out implementation plans with strong follow through
    • Strong communicator who is capable of communicating intricate and technical steps via phone and email
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deal with multiple priorities and heavy workload
    • Must have exceptional customer service skills
    • 3+ years experience in a client-facing position
    • Bachelor’s Degree desired
    • Previous experience with technical support and knowledge of mobile devices is a plus
    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
